CHINA vs. INDIA

The recent border disputes between India and China started in the floor of the Asian Development Bank which sanctioned loan to build roads in Arunachal Pradesh by Indian govt. The visit of Dalai Lama in Twang enraged Chinese govt. Both   sides put their arguments before media. The geopolitical disturbances in the region will hamper economic development. Both the two nations cannot afford war because war will destroy the two largest economies and that will provide US a chance to establish neo-colonialism in the region.  It is well known that US foreign policy is always motivated by the interest of their own country.  The two giants- China and India need better understanding  which is essential to  protect the interest of the peoples of the two country. In diplomatic matters India shows maturity but sometimes Chinese govt shows puerile behavior.  The growing relations between India and USA also puts some stress on Chinese side. But China must realize that in this century no country like India can avoid USA which is  the  most powerful nation in the world. In fact the policy of isolation is against the present  global world. The two Asian Giants have sufficient worth to reshape the globe if they make a combined effort.  Both nations have thousands year old cultural relations and today a vibrant relation between the two nations can redefine the 21st century.
The combined population of the two nations accounts for more than 30% of the total population of the world. China is able to maintain a high growth rate for a long period. The developmental experience of India is also remarkable. The two nations can share their developmental experience for the welfare of the peoples of the two nations. There are many spheres where the two nations can work together  because two nations facing similar socio-economic problems. If work together then better solutions to check population control might be achieved. The another major problem is the retarded agriculture growth and in this field technological co-operation is very important. China and India must stand together to protect their farmers from the discriminatory norms of WTO. The farmers of most Asian countries are not able to compete with the farmers of the developed nations. So it is time to enhance efficiency of the farmers by increasing inputs. China and India can work together to develop new technologies to boost up agriculture.
The time has reached to take decision- but it depends upon the two nations what they want development or destruction????????
